We use 9v rechargable batteries at our church. These will only last 2 hours in a wireless microphone. They will barely last 2 hours in our wireless audio packs (ear buds) and when I use them for my electric bass wireless transmitter device they barely get through 30 minutes of use per charge. Since we have three services and practice that morning as well, these batteries do not cut it.

First, I'd like to say thank you to Amazon for selling these batteries at a much lower price than the Motorola website (and I get free shipping). I am purchasing them as replacements for the ones that came with the radios. As a previous reviewer noted, after a couple of years of regular use, they stop working well. They are ultimately a good investment if you intend to use them around the house, farm, or office on a daily basis. I do want to note though after a similar experience with the radios at work that if your battery pack stops working and you need to use the radios, 3 AA batteries can be used in place (but DO NOT use the rechargeable variety, just standard Duracell or Energizer AAs). If you open the back of your radio and pop out the rechargeable unit, you will see the icon for AA batteries. It works well for a few days, long enough to make a decision about the Motorola replacement pack.

Apple already realized that there is an issue with the battery for MacBook. They extended the warranty coverage from 1yr on the machine to 2yr on the battery itself. In both cases, the machine was left uncharged for about 1 week, the battery was "super-drained". The battery will never come back to life. Because the Canon digital SLR cameras use proprietary battery packs (as does pretty much EVERY digital SLR) you really don't want to get caught out on a trip with a dead battery - can't just run to the store and grab more AA's.

Luckily, you CAN prepare yourself by grabbing a spare Canon battery from amazon.com. The good news is that these batteries last a really long time (at least on my XT) and there's no way I've ever come CLOSE to going through two in one day. So while they're pricey, I only felt the need to buy one spare, and that has held me find.

I know there are cheaper aftermarket brands out there, and I know that there *may* be no difference - but for me, I'd prefer to put a canon branded battery in my camera, as any kind of leakage will destroy the entire thing, and at least this way the warranty will cover it. Or so I assume: I thankfully have never had that happen (nor have I heard of it in third party batteries).

Still though, even if it's all in my mind, I prefer the Canon piece, and as I said, just one will do ya!

Logitech MX Air Rechargeable Cordless Air Mouse

I have read many of the opinions and reviews for this mouse, and the lower graded ones really crack me up. This mouse is simply the best I have ever bought.

One reviewer said it did not have a good range. I am able to use this creature from better than 75 feet away. Problem - I can't see the screen too well from there.....

Another reviewer said there was no software for MAC. - I plugged in the receiver and have no problems running on my MAC. User error ya think?

Recharge time varies a little, but I typically get a full charge from a dead battery in about an hour and a half. It is then good to go for about three days of pretty constant use. If you could see in my shopping cart, you would see that I have yet another one of these ready to click my way.

Bottom line, I have bought two of these jewels for myself. One for home and one for work. I have also tired the family with these things. Microsoft Explorer Mouse

The MS Explorer mouse works really smooth on any surface I am using it with Windows 7 with no problems. That is, not using the drivers on the disk which causes problems with the scroll wheel not working properly, you have to keep scrolling as fast as you can to get to move the page a couple of lines.
I haven't used it with the drivers on Vista so I can't comment on how the scroll will work.
This is the lightest and easiest and most comfortable mouse I have used as of today.

I've had the mouse for over a year, and it was fine, except for the imprecise scrolling. It was sharp and quick.

But now the wheel will barely move. Additionally, the clear material that makes up the wheel is disintegrating, "rubbing-up" the way rubber glue does. The is no apparent way to take the mouse apart to see if there is a way to free up the wheel.

I can't believe that this technology is being made useless because of something as simple as the poor design quality of the wheel. And because of that, the mouse, charger, and USB receiver are headed to the landfill after a very short life. What a waste of resources.

Sanyo Eneloop 4 Pack AA NiMH Pre-Charged Rechargable Batteries w/ Charger

I use these in my Canon 430EX II flash unit, and they work great. Recycle times are really quick. I don't know exactly how many shots a single charge is good for because the most I've done in a single session was around 400 shots and the batteries were still going strong.

Sanyo eneloop batteries lose their charge much more slowly than regular NiMH batteries, so I don't have to bother charging them again just before using them. This isn't an issue for those who shoot photos all the time, but I don't use my flash every day so this is a nice benefit.

The charger is reasonably fast. It takes 3 hours to charge 4 batteries. Chargers that are quicker than that usually put too much strain on the batteries and decrease their lifetime. It can also charge AAA batteries, which is nice.

La Crosse Technology BC-9009 AlphaPower Battery Charger

I did quite a bit of research on this type of charger.

I narrowed it down to the Maha Powerex MH-C9000 and this LaCrosse BC-900. The thing that turned me off about the Maha was that it charged by default at 1000 mAh, and you have to program batteries one at a time instead of in a group like you can with the LaCrosse. I read quite a few negative reviews of the Maha in the candlepower forums, so I took NLee's advice and purchased the LaCrosse. As a bonus I saved about $25 over the Maha.

I have to say, I'm very pleased with the purchase.

The batteries included are kind of mediocre and the C and D adapters are cheaply made (I like the eneloop adapters and batteries), but they work great.

Note: These are NOT low self discharge batteries, but they do last a fairly descent amount of time. They are just not in the same league as the eneloops.

If you have a use for the adapters and the batteries, this is a great deal, considering that those alone would cost you in the neighborhood of $25 or so, your getting this GREAT charger for around $15. If not you can get the BC-700 for $30, it's the same charger less the 1000, 1500, and 1800 mAh charging modes, it charges at 200, 500, and 700 mAh. IMO the BC-900, with the extra goodies, is worth the extra $10.

I have had these AAA batteries for a couple of years. I use them for my mp3 player, my Sony sports radio, and my Mighty Bright clip-on light.

These give me about as much power as the regular Duracell Coppertop AAA alkaline batteries.

Although not mentioned in the product description, the capacity of these batteries is 1000 mAH. Duracell also makes these Pre-Charged 1000 mAH AAA Rechargeable Batteries (1000 mAH is the highest capapcity of AAA rechargeable batteries that Duracell makes as of this writing).

- Battery Life
I'm very satisfied with the battery life of these batteries. I frequently use my Might Bright light to read. These Duracell batteries give me 15-20 hours of light before my the light grows noticeably dimmer. After that, I can still squeeze some juice out of them to get a few more hours of usable light. And on my antiquated Cowon iAUDIO 4 player, I get about 10 hours from a single Duracell AAA Rechargeable battery!

I have both an Energizer and a Duracell battery charger. These batteries perform spectacularly no matter which charger I use to charge them.

- Pre-Charged Alternative
Whenever you're in a pinch and need some batteries (say you're out vacationing), instead of buying alkaline batteries, I'd also really recommend that you try these Pre-Charged Duracell Batteries. Sony BCG-34HRMF4 Battery Charger with LCD Display and 4 AA Ni-MH Rechargeable Batteries

After I purchased the charger and batteries, I charged the batteries, put them in a Canon Powershot A590IS camera. I few days later, I went to use the camera, and the batteries were discharged. I recharged them using the refresh mode. Measured voltage was 1.38 vdc. After 72 hours, with no use, the voltage dropped to 1.21 vdc, and after 84 hours, to 1.18 vdc. At that point, the camera wouldn't even turn on. I think the charger is fine, but the batteries are worthless. I sent an email to Sony describing my experience, but Sony has not replied.
I've ordered a set of Sanyo Eneloop batteries, which I expect will perform much better, according to reviews I've read. I would not recommend the Sony 2700mAh NiMH batteries due to the extremely rapid self discharge.

Microsoft Wireless Rechargeable Laser Mouse 7000 Mac/Windows

This mouse has served me very well, havent had to recharge it yet. I have had it for about 3 weeks now. At the end of my shift, i simply turn it off on the bottom. This mouse was in comparison with the MS blue-light technology mouse and it came down to the fact that i work at a desk and do not need to have a mouse that can operate on any surface. I was a little skeptical from one of the reviews saying that it is hard to pick up with one hand. I found this to not be true. To pick it up you simply tighten your thumb and ring finger (which is in a comfy groove) and pick it up.

Overall, great comfortable product. No complaints, and looks sharp next to my all black MS Ergo keyboard. :)

These batteries are great. I bough 2 of these packs last year, and I've been using them in all my flashlights and any of my camping gear that will take them. Do not buy these batteries for a camera. They state that they will work better than regular batteries, but after I charged them they only took 5 or 6 pictures. I recharged them and the same thing happened. Maybe I just received bad batteries, but I would rate them as junk.
